Watchingsport via Satellite is made available by receiving signals beams around the globe via communications satellites placed in a Geo-Stationary Orbit in a set positions, like, 1 West, or 13 East to feed that positions media requirements.

Since the first Geo-Stationary Satellite in 1962 that delivered Satellite TV signals to the USA, systems and technology have enabled every corner of the planet to have access to some kind of satellite feed, some Free To Air (FTA) most Encrypted via a set-top box.

Watchingsport on TV has grown into a multi $billion industry with multiple rights now marketed globally. These rights can trade individually for $billions  mostly over 4 year period like the Formula 1 (F1), English Premier League (EPL), US College Basketball (NCAA) and most recently the Indian Premier League (IPL).
