London Olympics 2012 – Day 7

I enjoyed my Cornflakes and Cuppa of PG watching Jess Ennis run fast enough in the Hurdles to have won a Gold in Beijing. 80,000 fans made Olympic history packing out the Olympic Stadium on the first session. As the day progressed Jess hit more PB’s to lead the field at the end of the first day of the Heptathlon.

Go Jess, Jump long, Throw far, Run fast, GB loves you.

Then while travelling across London this morning, the Tube announcer said, there are delays on the Central Line around the Bethnal Green area, I laughed, An LU employee, said “you’re a Londoner work it out….”, 200,000 people entered the park, no one was late for the Jess PB and Westfield was only for Olympic fans woo who….

Go London

On a train at lunchtime of to a meeting in Watford, I watched Catherine Grainger & Anna Watkins on my iPhone cane the Aussies for that long-awaited GOLD, Yep Catherine Grainger has finally broken the “Curse of Silver” at 36 years old… I look across and the chap opposite was also welling up to the Rowers GOLD. William and George pulled a Bronze, and then went off to the Pub. Alan Campbell was exhausted after a great run to get Bronze in the lonely man’s boat.

Eton Dorney Rocks!

Queen Vic, You bloody beauty, so much mental strength after yesterday’s crisis. She wins the Keirin and Olympic GOLD. The Men’s Pursuit Team also showed no mercy against an Australian team to Win GOLD too,
